GAIA AND ALEX’S ROMANTIC GETAWAY TO VENICE
Planning a pre-wedding session is much more than just taking beautiful photos before the big day. It is the perfect opportunity to connect with your photographer, lose your fear of the camera and, why not, treat yourselves to an unforgettable getaway.

When Gaia and Alex proposed traveling to Venice for their engagement photoshoot, we didn’t think twice.
As wedding photographers, we are always looking for corners where light and architecture tell a story, and the city of canals gave us the perfect setting to capture their love in its purest and most authentic form.

The secret of a pre-wedding shoot in Venice:
Magic before dawn Anyone who has visited Venice knows that it is a vibrant city full of life, but to capture the true essence of Gaia and Alex, we needed intimacy.
That is why we decided to start the session very early, just as the first rays of sun began to tint St. Mark’s Square in pink and the canals were still asleep.

Walking alongside them and getting lost in the almost empty, cobblestone alleys allowed us to work with a soft, clean, and magical light.
Gaia and Alex completely forgot about our lenses; they simply strolled, laughed, hugged, and enjoyed the moment.
And that is precisely the secret of documentary photography: capturing spontaneity and real feelings, without any forced poses.

Why have a pre-wedding shoot? (Tips for future brides and grooms)

If you are organizing your wedding in Sabadell, Barcelona, or any corner of Spain, you might likely be asking yourselves:
Is a pre-wedding session really worth it?
Based on the experience of couples like Gaia and Alex, our answer is a resounding “yes, ” and here is why:

Goodbye to wedding day nerves:
Everything happens very fast on the wedding day. Having done a previous session will help you know how we work, feel comfortable in front of the camera, and lose that initial shyness. On Day W, you will be completely relaxed.

Photos for your wedding stationery:
Many of our couples use their pre-wedding photos for the design of their invitations, the guest book, or their wedding website.

A unique memory of your everyday life:
On the wedding day you will be dressed in your bridal attire, but the pre-wedding shoot allows you to have a professional photo reportage featuring your everyday style, in a location that means something special to you.
